Job summary

M&T Bank in Radnor, Pennsylvania is seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to support underwriting and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of commercial relationships. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field with at least one year of credit experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Capital IQ, FactSet, and Bloomberg is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the credit needs of customers by analyzing new requests and material modifications from deal screen through approval and for the life of the loan.
• Manage the ongoing credit risk of existing loan portfolios through CCM activities including annual reviews, covenant monitoring, problem loan management and early warning indicators.
• Review all pertinent credit and financial information to determine the need for further investigation.
• Analyze financial information and complete credit analyses with risk ratings, mitigants, industry concerns and market trends.
• Prepare cash flow, collateral schedules, covenant sensitivity calculations, and guarantor statement analysis as appropriate.
• Enter complete and accurate data into Bank systems and participate in client/prospect calls with relationship managers.
• Present analysis during credit request discussions or committee presentations.
• Assist in monitoring credit policy compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
