Rockland Trust is offering a Commercial Credit Administration Summer Intern position in Massachusetts. The role provides hands-on experience supporting the team that manages commercial lending documentation and reporting, with exposure to loan administration and credit processes.

Interns collaborate on signature summer projects, gain insights into lending workflows, and develop analytical, organizational, and professional skills to prepare for a career in banking or finance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, accounting, banking, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interest in commercial banking, lending, credit services, or financial operations.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, and maintain financial documents related to commercial lending.
• Prepare and process commercial credit reports and loan documentation.
• Maintain accurate loan files, records, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare reports and materials for internal meetings and business reviews.
• Conduct research and data entry related to commercial credit, lending, and banking operations.
• Support the Credit Administration team with various departmental projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members on administrative and lending-related activities.
• Gain exposure to how commercial loans are documented, managed, and supported throughout the lending lifecycle.
• Participate in collaborative summer projects with fellow interns.
