Job summary

Citizens Bank – Oregon City Branch is seeking a Credit Analyst to support Commercial Loan Officers in underwriting, portfolio management, and customer service for commercial accounts. You will prepare financial spreads and cash flow analyses, identify credit risks, and assist with loan documentation and compliance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of GAAP, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced banking environment. Local travel to branches may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent credit training and experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting/finance theory and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and prepare spread analyses.

Responsibilities

• Assist Commercial Loan Officers in underwriting credits and portfolio management.
• Prepare financial spreads and cash flow analyses for new loan requests and renewals.
• Conduct in-depth credit analysis and write full credit memos for approvals.
• Track loan covenants and compliance; coordinate with lending team on documentation.
• Interact with clients to collect required financial information and respond to inquiries.
