Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial credit experience.
• Proficient in PC applications including Excel, Word and Access.
• Familiar with compliance requirements and underwriting standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite credit requests using applications, spreads, financials, tax returns, credit bureaus, and meetings.
• Ensure requests comply with bank policy and note exceptions.
• Discuss deal structure, cash flow, collateral, and customer character with Relationship Managers.
• Accompany RM on customer calls and interact with customers in person and over the phone as directed.
• Interact with CPAs, CFOs, and other professionals to assist underwriting.
• Present written analysis and observe lender presentations.
• Conduct market surveys and research as needed.
• Manage portfolio with annual reviews and update tracking database.
• Identify potential problem loans and deficiencies.
• Assist customers with questions regarding loans and retail products.
