The role collaborates with commercial lenders to analyze borrower financials, prepare loan memos, assess risk, and verify appropriate risk ratings while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 18 accounting/finance credits and 2–4 years banking experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and tax returns.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Excel and banking credit tools.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-depth analysis of company financial statements and tax returns for credit decisions.
• Review credit reports and tax returns; spread financials with software.
• Prepare credit memoranda for loan requests, renewals, and extensions.
• Identify policy exceptions and mitigating factors.
• Collaborate with commercial lenders to ensure accurate risk rating.
• Utilize loan portfolio systems for documentation and renewals.
• Coordinate with staff to obtain missing financial information.
• Request current financials annually for lines of credit and larger relationships.
• Assist with administration of the commercial loan portfolio.
• Support in-house real estate evaluations and regulatory compliance.
