The Commercial Credit Analyst I is responsible for providing financial analysis, underwriting support, and credit risk assessment for commercial loan relationships. The Credit Analyst I supports Commercial Lenders, Portfolio Managers, Credit Officers, and Credit Administration by analyzing borrower and guarantor financial information, evaluating repayment capacity, assessing collateral support, assisting with risk rating recommendations, and contributing to the preparation of annual reviews, renewals, modifications, and other credit requests.
The Credit Analyst I works independently on routine to moderately complex commercial credit relationships while continuing to develop expertise in commercial lending, financial analysis, underwriting practices, and credit risk assessment. The position serves as an integral part of the commercial credit process by providing consistent, accurate, and timely analytical support that promotes sound credit decision-making.
