Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in credit, lending or financial operations in a corporate or banking environment.
• BMO Credit Qualification within one-year of assignment
• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to credit policies, regulatory standards, and operating guidelines to manage risk.
• Apply knowledge of financial statements to support credit analysis and underwriting.
• Understand commercial loan agreements, including covenants and collateral, and assist with amendments.
• Analyze financial information, tax returns, credit bureau reports, and related docs to support decisions.
• Perform covenant compliance and collateral margining calculations for assigned portfolios.
