Baird is seeking an Attorney to provide practical legal counsel and transactional support in a hybrid role-based in Milwaukee, WI or Louisville, KY. You will handle vendor contracts, real estate matters, and related commercial work, with opportunities to assist securities, regulatory, disclosure and operational matters as you gain experience.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic achievement.
Active U.S. state bar admission in good standing.
Experience with commercial contracts, corporate matters, and securities regulation preferred.
Familiarity with legal tech and AI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Negotiate, draft and review vendor agreements and other contracts with stakeholders.
Advise on contractual terms, risk and practical approaches to routine matters.
Support real estate leases and related legal issues.
Collaborate with attorneys across the Legal Department to share knowledge.
Conduct legal research and translate findings into practical guidance.
Work on projects involving new regulations or business initiatives.
