Job summary

Meta's Legal team is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join the AI Partnerships group. This role supports the full range of commercial work powering Meta's AI ambitions, with a focus on bringing our models to market across the ecosystem.

You will negotiate distribution agreements with cloud service providers, manage data licensing, and handle complex enterprise licensing and partnerships. Collaborating with BD, product, engineering and policy teams, you’ll move deals quickly while protecting

Qualifications

• J.D. (or equivalent) and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of legal experience with tech transactions, licensing, or partnerships.
• Experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial agreements (cloud, SaaS, or platform).

Responsibilities

• Model Distribution & Ecosystem Launch: partner for distribution of Meta's AI models via CSPs and other channels.
• Structure, negotiate, and close distribution agreements
• Lead or support large-scale AI commercial transactions and partnerships
• Advise on data licensing for model training and product development
• Provide commercial counsel to teams building AI-powered consumer experiences across Meta apps
