We are looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel to join our North America (AMS) Legal team, reporting to the Director, Associate General Counsel. This remote role (US) involves working on innovative legal issues related to technological advancements. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, advising on privacy, compliance, and product development, and proactively managing legal and compliance risks. The role is remote and can be located anywhere in the continental US.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing, drafting, and managing technology licenses, intellectual property agreements, SaaS/cloud agreements, partnership and vendor agreements, services agreements, statements of work, terms of service, end-user agreements, and data processing agreements (DPAs).
• Driving legal solutions for workflow management.
• Advising stakeholders on legal issues, risks, approval processes, and compliance matters including GDPR.
• Responding to legal requests from various business units and translating legal concepts for non-legal teams.
• Managing agreements to align with company policies and risk appetite.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of in-house experience in technology licensing or transactional law within SaaS, Network Security, or Cybersecurity sectors.
• Familiarity with network security, cloud computing, SaaS, and privacy laws.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements and advising on international transactions.
• Expertise in GDPR and global data privacy regulations.
• Qualified to practice law in your state.

Success metrics:

After six months, you will understand our products, build cross-functional relationships, and focus negotiations on key objectives. After about a year, you will be an expert on our contracting model, trusted advisor, and contributor to company policies.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base salary in California & New York ranges from $170,000 to $210,100, plus bonus. Our benefits include health, wellness, 401k with match, paid time off, and various perks like onsite amenities and pet-friendly programs.
