Job summary

Thermal Works LLC is seeking a Commercial Cost Engineer to collaborate with the COO and CEO, developing scalable cost models across equipment, logistics, and services for domestic and international projects. The role focuses on OEM equipment, modular systems, and mission-critical infrastructure in large-scale data center environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel capabilities, 5+ years pricing experience, and the ability to work independently or with teams in a fast-changing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in equipment pricing, cost engineering, or industrial estimating.
Experience with large-scale or multi-megawatt systems.

Responsibilities

Support pricing for single-site, campus, and large-scale deployments.
Apply pricing tiers and volume breakpoints for multi-megawatt projects.
Account for regional differences in labor, logistics, compliance, and currency (US and EU).
Partner with Sales Engineering and Operations to align pricing with technical scope and execution reality.
Identify commercial risk and support margin analysis on complex opportunities.
Contribute to standardizing pricing tools and estimating processes.
