Job summary

K&D Factory Service is seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to join our team. With multiple locations across Pennsylvania, the role requires 2+ years of experience in servicing commercial kitchen equipment.

Technicians will perform service calls, manage diagnostic repairs, and maintain a high standard of customer service. We offer competitive hourly pay, bonuses, and a full benefits package including health insurance and 401(k) matching.

• Strong knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Driving record must align with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dispatched service calls and diagnose issues on commercial equipment.
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call.
• Provide an excellent customer experience and support internal team members.
• Ability to work on-call schedule, including overtime pay.
• Operate company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to guidelines.

Experienced Technicians Wanted (2+ Years)

K&D Factory Service has been servicing the Keystone State since 1945. K&D specializes in the repair of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and food service equipment in restaurants, schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. Our technicians are servicing the Pennsylvania area out of 7 branches in Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Williamsport, Allentown, Altoona, and Scranton. We are seeking Technicians with 2+ years of industry or related experience to join our team!

What You’ll Do:

• Perform dispatched service calls, diagnose, and repair service issues, and all other problems on commercial equipment
• Report all service activities accurately on the tablet after every call
• Provide an excellent customer experience in supporting customers and partnering with internal team members
• Ability to work on-call schedule (Including overtime pay)
• Operate and manage company-issued vehicles, tools, and equipment according to company guidelines

What You Need to Apply:

• 2+ years of experience servicing commercial kitchen equipment or in a related industry
• Strong Knowledge of gas, steam, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Driving record must align with our safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
• CFESA Certification or manufacturer training is a plus!
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a Successful background check and drug screen
