Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Superintendent to join our team and oversee project operations from start to finish. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Supervise the day-to-day activities on-site, including managing subcontractors and construction crews.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce company safety policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned with objectives.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress and daily reports.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise on-site promptly and efficiently.
• Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness, solving any issues or delays that may arise.
• Maintain effective communication with all parties involved, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
• Oversee implementation of the project schedule and track milestones to ensure adherence to timelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze project specifications and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• A degree in construction management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Certification in first aid, OSHA‑10 and a valid driver’s license may be required.
