Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent for a Kalispell, MT project. You will lead day-to-day field operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality on a ground-up commercial build. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial construction supervision, strong scheduling and communication skills, and a proven ability to independently manage a jobsite from preconstruction through turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience preferred.
• Experience with ground-up commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Proven ability to independently manage a commercial jobsite.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and meeting project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations from preconstruction through project completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and site activities.
• Maintain project schedules and keep work progressing according to plan.
• Monitor quality and ensure construction meets plans and specifications.
• Lead jobsite safety efforts and maintain a safe, organized site.
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and communicate project priorities.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify field issues early and work with the project team to develop solutions.
• Oversee punch list, closeout, and turnover activities.
