A day in the life of a superintendent at 3G Companies: A superintendent will work on a construction site to lead trade partners, suppliers, and internal manpower to safely build clients' desired spaces. This position focuses on building and maintaining relationships internally and externally to complete commercial construction projects on schedule and within budget.

Job Title: Superintendent I

(Superintendent II and Senior Superintendent positions also available)

Reports to: Field Operations Leader

Purpose: To lead small to medium and/or less complex construction project(s) ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate daily with trade partners, field, and office staff to complete projects on schedule
• Manage trade work per contract
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and building codes
• Enforce Graham and OSHA safety standards
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, architects, trade partners, and industry reps
• Construct buildings per plans and specifications
• Complete all reports as required
• Manage carpenters, laborers, field engineers, and interns
• Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, Outlook, and Excel
• Plan and manage schedules with a six-week lookahead
• Participate in preconstruction activities and pull sessions
• Enforce Graham quality standards
• Collaborate with project managers on budget, labor, and costs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in management or related field + 5 years of commercial construction experience, or equivalent field experience
• Proven ability to manage commercial construction projects
• Effective use of project management and scheduling software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interpret and build from construction drawings
• Extremely detail-oriented
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed

Legal Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass physical capacity profile
• Ability to navigate all construction site areas in various weather conditions
• Ability to work in noisy environments
• Must obtain OSHA 30 certification
• Willingness to work within assigned operational areas
