Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent for on-site leadership of industrial and commercial projects in the Lehigh Valley. You will own day-to-day field operations, manage teams, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to budgets.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in superintendent roles, strong MEP coordination, and experience with ground-up projects. On-site daily work in Allentown, PA is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial or industrial construction superintendent or field supervision experience.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and construction field operations.
• Hands-on experience with MEP coordination.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, safety requirements, and project scheduling.
• Experience with ground-up construction and renovations preferred.
• Familiarity with CPM scheduling and Primavera is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and industrial construction projects from site preparation through final closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractors, MEP trades, schedules, and daily jobsite activities.
• Partner with Project Managers, clients, and trade partners to keep projects on track and within budget.
• Conduct jobsite meetings, monitor construction progress, and proactively resolve challenges.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure quality execution.
• Champion jobsite safety, quality control, and a positive, productive team environment.
