Job summary

LeoForce in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects from award to closeout in Northern California. You will develop schedules, manage budgets, procurement logs, and key contracts, coordinating with owners, design teams, and subs to drive success.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, a strong background with general contractors, and expert skills in scheduling, budgeting, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Background working for a general contractor or construction management firm.
• Experience overseeing projects from several million to large, complex developments.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, cost control, contracts, and project administration.
• Ability to lead multiple stakeholders and drive project success from start to finish.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontract agreements, and procurement logs.
• Lead project meetings with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, job costing, and change order management.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure milestones, safety, and quality standards.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents.
• Identify and proactively resolve project risks and challenges.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships that contribute to repeat business opportunities.
