Job summary

gpac is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor in Evansville, Indiana, seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead diverse commercial projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

You will develop schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors and consultants, review contracts, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.

We're partnering with a well-established and growing commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead diverse commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will:

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and overall execution
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants
• Facilitate project meetings and provide timely updates to clients and stakeholders
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Proactively identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and scheduling issues
• Manage project financials, forecasting, cost controls, and change orders
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Build lasting relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Demonstrated success managing commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through final closeout
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contract administration
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and leading cross-functional project teams
• Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
