Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial and industrial projects from planning through completion, working with local teams across the Lehigh Valley. You will manage budgets, schedules, RFIs, submittals, and subcontractors, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery within budget, while upholding safety and quality standards.

5+ years of GC experience is preferred; familiarity with Procore, Primavera, or MS Project is helpful;

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience with commercial general contractors is preferred.
• Strong budgeting and scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (subcontractors, architects, engineers, clients).
• Familiarity with construction PM software such as Procore, Primavera or MS Project is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, cost tracking, and overall project performance.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and clients to keep projects moving forward.
• Oversee contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings, communicate progress, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Experience managing commercial ground-up projects or major renovations is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction project management software such as Procore, Primavera, or Microsoft Project is helpful.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local project teams and visit jobsites throughout the Lehigh Valley.
