Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead Corporate Office TI and Commercial Interiors projects from the Santa Clara office. The role emphasizes senior leadership, client engagement, and multi-project oversight throughout preconstruction to closeout, in a fast-paced, occupied environment.

The ideal candidate will bring deep TI experience, a proven ability to mentor teams, and a drive to grow HITT's Corporate Interiors presence across the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive commercial construction experience.
• Strong Corporate Office Tenant Improvement experience required.
• Proven experience delivering high-end commercial interiors and office buildouts.
• Experience managing multiple TI projects and project teams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of interior construction sequencing, MEP coordination, high-end finishes, occupied renovations, and accelerated schedules.
• Experience at the Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent leadership level.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, forecasting, contracts, scheduling, risk management, and project controls.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and generate repeat business.
• Experience within the Bay Area construction and Corporate Interiors market strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills with a track record of developing project teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight across multiple Corporate Office TI and Commercial Interiors projects
• Lead projects and teams through preconstruction, procurement, construction, turnover, and closeout
• Maintain accountability for project financial performance, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to develop project strategy, staffing, procurement, logistics, and execution plans
• Oversee fast-paced TI projects, including work in occupied environments, phased construction, accelerated schedules, and high-end finish packages
• Review project financials, forecasting, change management, cost reports, and overall project health
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, owners, architects, brokers, consultants, and subcontractors
• Participate in preconstruction, estimating, contract negotiations, client presentations, and project pursuits
• Support business development and identify opportunities for repeat Corporate Interiors and Tenant Improvement work
• Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and emerging leaders
• Support the continued growth of HITT's Santa Clara office and Corporate Interiors presence throughout the Bay Area

HITT Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Executive to join our Santa Clara office, with a strong focus on Corporate Office Tenant Improvement and Commercial Interiors work. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a construction professional who brings deep TI experience, strong client relationships, and the ability to lead and develop multiple project teams.

Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
