Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Project Executive to lead multiple commercial construction projects in Columbus, OH. You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts and forecasting, while ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.

You will build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors and other stakeholders, provide leadership across preconstruction, procurement, execution and closeout, and mentor project managers and field teams to drive results.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial construction projects at senior level.
• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple commercial construction projects and project teams.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, forecasting, and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide leadership in preconstruction, procurement, project execution, and closeout.
• Identify and resolve project risks, challenges, and contractual issues.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and other team members.
• Support business development, client pursuits, and opportunities for repeat business.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction operations, contracts, scheduling, and financial management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and client-management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
