Job summary

HITT Contracting seeks a Commercial Construction Project Executive to lead projects from discovery to implementation. You will oversee safety, schedules, quality control, and staff assignments, while actively managing client relationships and subcontractors.

Required are 10+ years in commercial construction including healthcare projects, a four-year degree (construction/engineering/business) or equivalent experience, and strong skills in project management software and drawing interpretation.

• Must have 10+ years in commercial construction and healthcare project exposure.
• Ability to master sector-specific software and read construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage large and small-scale projects from discovery through implementation.
• Oversee adherence to safety standards and company policies.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor project progress with updated schedules.
• Lead preconstruction and RFP efforts with appropriate departments.
• Ensure quality control plans are followed and closeout processes completed.

A Project Executive is responsible for all of the duties performed by the Project Manager as well as the following:ResponsibilitiesMaintains adherence to HITT’s standards of safetyEnsures the all job processes are followed in accordance with HITT policiesNegotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clientsMonitors the progress of each project through updated schedulesEnsures that the project Quality Control Plan is followedAssists that project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractorsEnsures proper assignment and evaluation of field personnel both within the project team and throughout the companyIdentifies and negotiates time extensions where justified and allowedAcquires new work as well as maintaining existing clientsMaintains positive relationships with the subcontractor communityEnsures timely completion of closeout processLeads the preconstruction and RFP package effort with the help of the Preconstruction Department and/or other company resourcesDelegates responsibility when necessary to ensure that the project/tasks run smoothlyQualifications10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractorPrior healthcare construction project experience requiredA four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneouslyAbility to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex.
