Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group is assisting a client in Dallas–Fort Worth to hire a Construction Project Engineer for commercial projects. The role involves coordinating documentation, scheduling, and subcontractor activities from preconstruction through closeout, with travel to active sites and occasional out-of-area trips.

The position emphasizes on-site collaboration, Excel-based tracking, and interaction with project managers, estimators, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction coordination or project engineering experience.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and project schedules.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in Dallas–Fort Worth region.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, schedules, and closeout packages.
• Maintain project records and tracking reports using Excel and CM software.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, and contract documentation.
• Assist estimating teams with bid documentation and scope reviews.
• Support planning, permitting, and subcontractor coordination.
• Assist PMs with cost tracking, budgets, and change orders.
• Coordinate site visits and activities across project locations.
• Track progress and action items through project completion.
• Travel to sites and occasional out-of-area trips.
