Job summary

United Contractor Services, LLC is seeking a driven Construction Management Intern to join our commercial projects team. You will gain real‑world experience across the full lifecycle of commercial construction, from preconstruction planning to field execution, working with seasoned professionals.

You'll support scheduling, cost estimation, drawings review, site visits, and quality control while learning Procore and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Procore and Bluebeam is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in scheduling, material procurement tracking, and project documentation.
Assist in developing cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
Learn to read construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Use Procore and Bluebeam for scheduling, budgeting, and tracking.
Attend regular site visits to observe active construction operations.
Support field crews and tradespeople with hands-on tasks.
Participate in quality control walkthroughs to verify work meets specs.
Facilitate communication between internal teams, general contractors, suppliers, and clients.
Help coordinate across trades to maintain workflow and timeline.
Assist with safety meetings and compliance inspections.
Engage in mentorship and training sessions.
