Job summary

The Alan Group in Troy, MI is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator who can accurately estimate and bid projects, collaborate with clients and trade partners, and drive profitable outcomes on diverse commercial projects.

You will work in-person at our Troy office and coordinate with Project Managers to develop scopes of work and timelines while delivering high-quality estimates and professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ estimating or construction costing experience in general contracting.

Responsibilities

• Accurately bid profitable projects by following estimating processes from beginning to end with detail and consistency.
• Bid conceptually with clients to problem-solve a job.
• Administer the buy-out process with trade partners and the Project Manager to write detailed scopes of work.
• Bring your client and sub network with you and maintain relationships with clients, architects and trade partners.
• Represent The Alan Group brand in a professional manner, including dress, demeanor, and language.
