As a Commercial Construction Estimator at Reliable Paving, you will play a key role in ensuring our projects are estimated accurately and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in commercial construction. You'll be responsible for producing precise cost estimates, reviewing blueprints, and ensuring that projects meet both budget and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze project requirements to provide accurate estimates for materials, labor, and other resources.
• Collaborate with project managers and the construction team to ensure projects are completed on budget.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and other team members.
• Prepare and submit bids, ensuring all aspects of the project are covered.
• Visit job sites as needed to gain insights and ensure accuracy in estimations.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and construction methods.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Proficient in performing take-offs and reading blueprints.
• Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
• Computer literate; familiarity with estimating software (Bluebeam, Plane Swift, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: The position is largely sedentary but requires occasional walking and site visits.
