Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager for the GovCloud program in Columbus, OH.

The APM will obtain, evaluate, coordinate and distribute information to keep projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards while growing as a beginner-level leader. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years on commercial sites, strong communication, and proficiency with ProCore, JD Edwards and the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety compliance and project documentation.
• Assist in creating and managing project budgets.
• Develop pre-construction RFP packages.
• Lead meetings, milestones, and owner reporting.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay apps, and change orders.
• Update schedules and ensure QC.
• Support closeout and operations handover.
• Collaborate with superintendent and field team.
