Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Carpenter to perform form building, setting, and finishing tasks for concrete structures and site work. You will read drawings, erect forms for floors, walls, and columns, and assist with reinforcement placement in a safety-minded environment.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential as you coordinate with team members to ensure accurate elevations, proper form setup, and timely concrete placement on various projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or contracting industry required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete components.
• Set forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect and remove forms using various materials and systems (incl. Symon forms).
• Verify accuracy of structures using levels, plumb bob, and rulers.
• Set up scaffolding and ladders for elevated work.
• Coordinate with Foreman/PM about materials, issues, and safety hazards.
• Maintain safe operation of all equipment and tools.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
