Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our field crew in El Paso, TX. You will work under a Foreman, assembling form systems for concrete structures and site work according to specifications and drawings.

The role requires careful hand-work, attention to detail, and reliability for on‑time project completion. Responsibilities include fabricating tilt up panels, forming footings and pads, installing embedded items, assisting with layout, stripping forms, and tool

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work weekends if needed.
• Provide basic hand tools for carpentry.
• OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

General description

The Concrete Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks. This individual will work with others and will be under the direction of a Foreman for the successful completion of each building. This person works very diligently with their hands and pays close attention to detail. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings. This may include concrete tilt-wall forms, symon forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures.

• Fabricate and assemble tilt up panels.


• Able to form footings, column pads and other structural concrete.


• Install and align embedded items such as anchor bolts, inserts and lifting hardware.


• Assist with layout as needed.
