Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Virginia Beach seeks a Commercial Cleaning Systems Diagnostic Technician to diagnose and repair equipment across cleaning and restoration systems. You’ll use meters and manuals to troubleshoot, communicate estimates to customers, and maintain scheduling efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years in related repair, a valid driver’s license, and basic mechanic tools. Expect daily repairs, safe shop practices, and potential overtime. Bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in commercial cleaning/restoration equipment or related repair/maintenance.
• Valid driver license with clean MVR in past 3 years.
• Own a basic set of mechanic’s tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Safety-first mindset with PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems across commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface-prep industries.
• Use meters, gauges, troubleshooting guides, and manuals accurately.
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity targets.
• Create service orders; schedule jobs and maintain appointments in scheduling software.
• Communicate with customers and vendors; prepare bids and estimates.
• Order parts and coordinate with vendors; maintain shop safety.
