Job summary

Gallo Mechanical Services is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician focused on heavy chillers. You will inspect, test, repair and perform planned maintenance on advanced chiller systems as part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include coordinating on large projects, guiding junior technicians, purchasing materials, and ensuring safe operations. Strong customer service, communication skills, and knowledge of building automation are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of chiller repair experience.
• 4+ years of HVAC tech experience.
• High School Diploma or GED; two-year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, diagnoses and repairs advanced and complex chiller systems.
• Coordinates work on large projects and communicates status to stakeholders.
• Operates hand and power tools, tests and maintains equipment.
• Develops relationships with customers and explains work performed.
