Total Construction Inc. in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a seasoned Commercial Carpenter with a strong background in suspended ceiling installation and setting doors, frames, and hardware. You will be a carpenter first, ensuring clean, precise ceilings and properly functioning hardware on commercial interior projects.

Schedule is 5am-2pm Monday-Thursday and 5am-11am Friday. The role requires 10+ years of commercial carpentry, laser layout, and the ability to read plans and door schedules.

Competenze

• 10+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• Strong ceiling grid and tile installation skills, including laser layout.
• Experience setting frames and hanging doors and hardware in commercial buildings.
• Able to read plans and door and hardware schedules.
• Your own reliable transportation and hand tools.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded.

Mansioni

• Lay out and install suspended ceiling grid and acoustical ceiling tile from plans, including perimeter trim and around lights and diffusers.
• Set and anchor hollow metal and wood frames, plumb and square.
• Hang doors and install hinges, locksets, closers, exit devices, and other hardware.
• Adjust doors and hardware so they close, latch, and operate properly.
• Handle blocking, backing, and general interior commercial carpentry as needed.
• Work from lifts, scaffolding, and ladders.
• Work with our supervisors and other trades to keep jobs on schedule.

Pay: $25–$35 per hour, based on experience

About the role
Total Construction Inc. is a commercial general contractor in Conshohocken. We’re looking for an experienced commercial carpenter with a strong background in suspended ceiling installation and setting doors, frames, and hardware. You’ll be a carpenter first, working across our commercial interior projects, and you’ll be the person we count on for clean, accurate ceilings and doors that hang and operate right. Schedule (5am-2pm M-Th/ 5am-11am Friday)
