Mt. Bachelor LLC in Bend, Oregon seeks a professional bus/transport driver to move guests and staff safely around the mountain area. The role requires operating under DOT rules, maintaining a valid CDL with passenger endorsement, and passing daily vehicle checks.
Training on resort-specific routes and procedures is provided. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, safe transport, and clear communication with guests.

To perform the duties assigned, including pre-tripping and post-tripping of vehicles used. Transporting staff and/or guests around the mountain, to and from Bend, to and from Sunriver, and/or to and from La Pine.
Maintain a commercial driver's license and Department of Transportation medical card. Complete driver's vehicle inspection report before operating vehicle. Complete post-trip inspection report at the end of each day’s vehicle use. Report any vehicle deficiencies on the inspection report to the manager or supervisor, and vehicle maintenance shop in a prompt manner. Transport guests and staff from one destination to another in a safe manner at a reasonable time interval.
Your primary function is to ensure that the bus and/or transport vehicle you are operating is in a safe and functional condition. Transportation of guests and staff from Point to point in a safe and timely manner. Understand and follow federal regulations, state regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Exercise customer service skills when applicable to engage guests and make them feel welcome. Also share knowledge of the resort services and future events appropriate for public disclosure. Professionally and politely, inform guests of needed corrective action. Such as having guests move to an appropriate parking space so as not to block bus lanes. In extreme emergencies, drivers may be directed to drop passengers off and support Emergency operations; drivers will never be asked to do anything that is high risk.

License/Certification: Commercial driver's license, passenger endorsement, current DOT medical card. Technical: An understanding of police terminology and classification of crimes/incidents. Can look up ORS # and understand. Report Writing. Testifying in Court. Physical Capabilities: Must be able to bend, Crouch, and stretch in a manner that allows proper inspection of a commercial vehicle. The ability to climb at least 4 steps and spend periods of time in a seated position behind a steering wheel for up to 4 hours at a time. Additional: First Aid/CPR/AED preferred.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Minimum time in related position: 1+ year in commercial driving capacity.
