Job summary

Stream Realty Partners is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support operation and maintenance of building systems across properties. You will work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, perform repairs, and assist with safety and life-safety systems.

The role emphasizes customer service, documentation, and adherence to safety policies. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in commercial building operations, EPA Universal Certification (within 90 days), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Building Operations, Property Management, or related industry.
• EPA Universal Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals and written instructions.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong communication, safety, and emergency response skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Perform general repairs and replacements of building components and fixtures.
• Apply knowledge of HVAC distribution and controls to resolve work orders.
• Participate in water treatment chemical programs.
• Maintain operation logs and records for central plants and equipment.
• Provide concierge-style service to internal and external partners.
• Understand and operate fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Adhere to Stream and property policies and safely perform duties.
• Participate in required training activities and seminars.
