Job summary

Accesso, a solutions-driven property management company in Austin, is seeking a Building Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and monitoring of building systems. The role requires hands-on work with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related facilities tasks while maintaining service standards for tenants and vendors.

The position emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and adherence to safety and procedures, with responsibilities including on-call emergencies and coordination

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in commercial building maintenance or closely related field.
• Familiar with INET BAS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Operate building systems including access and lighting controls, fire and life safety systems.
• Complete daily work orders and maintenance records; troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Provide after-hours on-call emergency response and overtime as needed.
• Interact professionally with tenants, occupants, vendors, and coworkers.
• Coordinate with contracted service providers to resolve service calls.
