Commercial Combustion Corporation is hiring a full-time Commercial Boiler Mechanic/Technician to service and install boiler systems in the New York City metropolitan area. The role is on-site, with emphasis on safe, reliable operation and hands-on troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of boiler experience, HVAC knowledge, and the ability to work independently or with a team. Union benefits and ongoing training are provided, with strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial boiler experience.
• Experience with maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial boiler systems.
• Knowledge of steam boilers, hydronic systems, condensing boilers, and boiler safety standards.

Role Description

We are seeking a full-time experienced Commercial Boiler Mechanic / Technician to join our growing team in the New York City Metropolitan Area.

This is an on-site position responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and installing commercial and industrial boiler systems and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with a wide range of boiler systems and controls while maintaining high safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair commercial boiler systems and Heating equipment
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshoot heating, combustion, and control systems
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational issues
• Respond to emergency service calls
• Install and replace commercial heating equipment
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Follow all applicable safety standards and compliance requirements

Qualifications

• Required Minimum 5 years of commercial boiler experience
• Experience with maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial boiler systems
• Experience working on:
• Steam boilers
• Hydronic systems
• Condensing boilers
• High- and low-pressure systems
• Chemical treatment
• Steam Traps
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Gas connections
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience with burners, controls, pumps, gas trains, and combustion systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of boiler safety standards and compliance requirements
• NYC commercial experience strongly preferred
• Experience operating heavy equipment and industrial tools
• Prior experience in commercial or industrial environments
• Technical certifications or specialized HVAC/heating training
• High school diploma or equivalent
