Job summary

Bank of America’s Community Development Banking group in Chicago seeks a Commercial Associate to deliver analytical research and data-driven insights to support client needs. The role partners with banking and product teams to develop market analysis, pitchbooks, and relationship reviews.

You'll leverage financial statements, industry trends, and data storytelling to inform strategy, support deal execution, and expand client relationships while contributing to affordable housing and community

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional or business experience.
• Applies analytical thinking and financial modeling skills.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking and the ability to work independently.
• Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Analyze market and industry data to uncover insights for client meetings, pitch books, and relationship reviews.
• Collaborate with Market Executives, Relationship Managers, and team members across the bank to help prepare client presentations and support client deals.
• Observe and support the credit approval and treasury solutions processes to build knowledge of products, services, and related approval and packaging requirements.
• Support the coordination of clients/prospects and partners from product and deal teams throughout the course of a transaction.
• Support the delivery of new business analytics, monitors client activities, and performs portfolio optimization to identify and expand client relationships while maintaining and enhancing business opportunities.
• Understands and interprets financial and cash flow statements to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends.
