Crewforce is seeking an Audio/Visual Technician to install, test, and service commercial AV systems in the Bronx area. You will work with low voltage cabling, TV’s, projectors, PA systems, and control devices, using test equipment to verify performance.

The role requires 3+ years of AV installation experience, own basic hand tools, and solid knowledge of audio, video, control, and communications systems. Weekly pay and benefits available.

Responsabilités

• Installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, or programming of AV systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX, Smartboards, etc.).
• Installation of low voltage cable.
• Installation of AV devices such as TVs, speakers, projectors, PA systems, smartboards, etc.
• Operation of test equipment: Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multi-Meter, and Impedance Meter
• Team or solo work to integrate low voltage systems for commercial installations and service projects

Audio / Visual Technician- $20-$35/hr - DOE

We are currently hiring Audio/Visual Technicians with 3+ years of experience performing audio/visual installation in a commercial setting. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Bronx Area.

These positions are commercial-based, construction installation positions. These positions are NOT event set-up and tear down nor are they related to the TV, film, or music industry.

Audio / Visual Technician Job:

• Installation, service, testing, troubleshooting, or programming of numerous Audio-Visual Systems including: Crestron, Extron, AMX, Smartboards, etc.
• Installation of low voltage cable
• Installation of various AV devices such as TV’s, speakers, projectors, PA systems, smartboards, etc.
• Operation of test equipment: Volt Meter, Ohm Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Multi-Meter, and Impendence Meter
• Working in teams or independently to integrate various low voltage systems and complete commercial installation and service projects

Audio / Visual Technician Qualifications:

• Recent experience performing AV installations in a commercial setting
• Your own basic hand tools
• Working knowledge of audio, video, control, and communications systems is required
• Strong background in electronics and low voltage integration or solid job history/tenure working for an established A/V contractor
• Audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturer certifications is a plus (Polycom, AMX, Crestron, NEC, Bi-AMP, etc.)

Compensation:

• Competitive starting pay $20-$35/hr or depending on experience
