Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee underwriting and rating activities for placement of eligible risks in various State Commercial Auto Plans.
• Provide leadership on underwriting largest and most complex policy applications, renewals, changes, and cancellations to determine risk and coverage.
• Respond to complex telephone inquiries from insureds, producers, and insurance departments.
• Determine and compile rating criteria to maximize premium and profitability.
• Coordinate underwriting activity with related departments and conduct training of staff.
