MWH Constructors, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Project Manager - Commercial to support controls, contracts, coordination and construction of water infrastructure projects in the Portland, OR or Seattle, WA areas.

The role focuses on contract compliance, change management, project controls, and financial reporting to ensure successful delivery across commercial aspects of multi‑million dollar projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or higher in engineering, construction management or related field.
• 4+ years in project engineering, site superintendent or trade package management in heavy civil/buildings.
• 3+ years as assistant project manager on heavy civil/buildings projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project procedures comply with Prime Contract and Subcontracts and manage residual risk.
• Coordinate change order proposals and ensure cost estimates align with contract documents.
• Write letters and official correspondence to Subcontractors, Suppliers and Owner.
