Job summary

Hi Tech Commercial Service in Reno, NV is seeking Commercial Appliance Technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment at customer sites. You’ll drive a company vehicle and operate in a fast-paced environment with paid time off and ongoing training.

Qualified candidates have experience in cooking or refrigeration, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and excellent customer communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking, refrigeration, or related military fields.
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with driving record aligning with safety standards.
• EPA Universal license is a plus.
• CFESA certification or related training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and ware washing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by meeting expectations on every service call.
• Complete service calls in a timely manner.
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
• Maintain service vehicle and order necessary parts.

What does a Commercial Appliance Technician do?
