Job description

Commercial Appliance Service is seeking qualified Commercial Service Technicians for our team in Sarasota, FL, and the surrounding areas. We handle troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment at customer locations.

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and ware washing equipment
• Provide excellent customer service on every call
• Complete service calls promptly
• Identify new customers and opportunities within existing accounts
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call schedules
• Maintain service vehicle and order parts as needed
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly; up to 100 pounds with assistance

Requirements:

• Experience in cooking, refrigeration, or related military fields; veterans encouraged to apply
• EPA Universal Certification
• Electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Successful drug screen and background check
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Driving record compliant with safety standards

Preferred:

• CFESA certification
