Job summary

AKRS Equipment Solutions is hiring a seasoned field service technician to diagnose and repair agricultural and AMS equipment on-site at customer locations.

You will schedule visits, deliver hands-on maintenance, and provide exceptional service while benefiting from top pay, bonuses, generous PTO, insurance, 401(k) with match, and other employee perks. Travel and physical work are common, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing service repairs, preferably in Ag Retail.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance using tools.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used on agricultural and turf equipment.
• Expert knowledge of CAN Bus, AMS, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on agricultural equipment.
• Excellent skills in operating vehicles and diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Commercial & Application Support Manager to schedule and complete field-based customer service calls.
• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on application equipment, agricultural equipment, and AMS products.
• Provide customers with excellent customer service.
• Participate in service training programs required for developing mechanical skills and knowledge.
• Drive a successful machine inspection campaign to grow inspection business.
• Perform complex diagnostics on AMS products on location.
• Support customers and AKRS employees with machine setup and optimization.
