Job summary

FanDuel Group is seeking a Commercial Analyst in Los Angeles to drive insights on online Racing market dynamics and business performance in collaboration with the Commercial Analytics Manager.

You will help forecast, budget, and report using Python, SQL, and Databricks, turning data from multiple sources into actionable strategic guidance for senior leadership across Marketing, Product, Growth, Finance and Partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a numerate field (business, math, stats, econ, finance, etc.)
• 1+ year of professional analytics or related experience
• Ability to synthesize imperfect data sources into a coherent point of view
• Comfort building structured analyses, models, or frameworks
• Experience delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
• Strong analytics toolkit including SQL, Excel, AI; experience with Python and Databricks; Tableau a plus

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve recurring performance reporting for leadership; automate production to focus on analysis
• Analyze marketing and promo efficiency; cohort targeting and spend allocation
• Support forecasting and budgeting; translate analytics into forecast assumptions
• Partner with Product to assess pre/post-launch impact of product changes
• Collaborate with Marketing, Strategy, Finance, Analytics to connect market insights with performance
• Support share-of-wallet reporting and external data partnerships
• Contribute to strategic and competitive assessments through structured analysis
• Translate data and analyses into clear narratives for senior decision-makers
• Help build and maintain scalable self-service dashboards (Tableau, Databricks) and AI-assisted workflows
