Job summary

Verizon is seeking a senior analytics professional to own the accuracy and performance of commercial operations, driving insights into commissions, incentives, and billing methods. You will partner cross-functionally with various teams to ensure profitability and evolve our portfolio of offerings, while guiding complex analyses to support strategic decisions.

You will translate customer insights into quantified business value and leverage tools to enable data-driven storytelling for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Eight or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work or military experience, or specialized training.
• Experience in Microsoft and/or Google Suites of products (PowerPoint, Slides, Excel, Sheets).
• Ability to define analytical frameworks, analyze complex data sets, and deliver actionable insights.
• Degree in business intelligence/analytics, computer science, or mathematics preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience with visualization tools like Looker or Qlik.
• Experience with Data Warehousing or Teradata SQL.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Claude or Co-Pilot.
• Proven visualization/storyboarding skills to present insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication skills to influence decisions across teams.
