Job summary

ConocoPhillips is offering a Commercial Analyst New Hire Development Program in Houston, designed to provide active learning through rotations across risk, crude, natural gas, power, scheduling, and 24-hour trading roles. The program includes on-the-job training and formal coursework, with assessments after each rotation and potential placement into a permanent role.

The rotations span 6–18 months each, educating new hires about the energy business and how the Commercial function creates value.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer or education institution.
• Current college level: Senior or Graduate Student
• Expected graduation date: Fall 2026 through Summer 2027

• Providing market and business analysis
• Customer and 3rd party interface
• Decision support to operations and management
• Learning and developing new knowledge and skills
• Developing and demonstrating basic knowledge of Commercial function
• Displaying ability to interpret data and make recommendations to the business
