Job Summary (Primary function)

The Oncology Senior Account Analyst will be a highly motivated individual that enjoys working with large and complex datasets consisting of both Oral and IV/IJ products. The position will support Oncology-focused functional areas (Market Access, Finance, Sales Operations, and Product Strategy) and collaborate with other Commercial Operations teams to cleanse, prepare, QC, query, report and analyze trends in Incyte’s Oncology IV/IJ and Oral portfolio. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and understand the pharmaceutical business across various functional areas, with exposure to strategy development and market execution.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key Responsibilities)

1. Partner with BIS (Business Information Services) team to research, maintain, update, and assign relationships in our Master Account Database to affiliate HCPs to Accounts, Accounts to Health Systems, and Parent Accounts or IDNs.
2. Track and analyze patient and prescriber level trends for Incyte’s Oncology portfolio, across different payer types (commercial/government insured), by region, by class of trade or channel, and by indication.
3. Aggregate disparate dispense data reported by prescriber in the Specialty Pharmacy channel with account purchases in the Specialty Distributor channel to glean insights on total product utilization by parent account for both hospital and community-based accounts.
4. Assess and identify factors that contribute to channel shifting at an account level.
5. Evaluate the impact of promotional activities on account level trends.
6. Monitor and report on IncyteCARES program utilization.
7. Support team efforts by contributing to ad hoc analyses, presentations, and other tactical or strategic initiatives.
8. Document business specifications for reports that transition from ad-hoc to automation including reporting and visualization requirements.
9. Develop subject matter expertise in understanding relationships and datasets related to Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, Group Purchasing Organizations, Bone Marrow Transplant & CAR-T centers, hospitals, HCP affiliations, and other relevant data.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency)

1. Bachelor’s Degree required
2. 1+ year of analytical experience or pharmaceutical experience
3. Technical proficiency querying, analyzing, and reporting on large data sets (SQL, SAS, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables/Macros) and Power Point
4. Experience with statistical analysis methods using software such as Python, R, SAS, or similar tool is a plus
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
