Job summary

You will manage relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriting partners, ensuring accurate policy administration and tailored coverage. Prior experience in a fast-paced agency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Property & Casualty license is required.
• 3+ years in Commercial Lines account management or sales support.
• Strong knowledge of commercial coverages, policy structures and underwriting.
• Experience renewing and marketing accounts; securing coverage.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and software; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts with responsive, consultative service.
• Coordinate renewals: marketing, submissions, coverage options, placements.
• Process endorsements, changes, cancellations, billing inquiries, and related tasks.

You'll manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, serve as a trusted resource to clients, and collaborate with producers, carriers, and underwriting partners to ensure accounts are serviced accurately and efficiently.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing responsive and consultative service throughout the policy lifecycle.
• Coordinate renewal activities by marketing accounts, preparing carrier submissions, negotiating coverage options, and securing timely placements.
• Process endorsements, policy changes, cancellations, billing inquiries, premium finance requests, and related service transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, brokers, and underwriters to resolve issues and deliver tailored insurance solutions.
• Monitor outstanding account activity and proactively follow up on service requests to improve workflow efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for account rounding, cross‑selling, and new business development while partnering with Producers to support account growth and retention.

What You Bring

Day One:

• Active Georgia Property & Casualty insurance license.
• 3+ years of Commercial Lines account management or sales support experience within an insurance agency, brokerage, or carrier environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, policy structures, underwriting processes, and coverage placement.
• Experience managing commercial policy renewals, marketing accounts, and binding coverage.
• Experience working with agency management systems and commercial insurance software platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in policy administration and documentation.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Valuable Additions:

• Experience supporting accounts with habitational property, general liability, professional liability, and workers' compensation exposures.
• Demonstrated success identifying account rounding, cross‑selling, or growth opportunities within an existing book of business.
• Experience working with a high‑volume commercial lines portfolio.
• Additional industry designations or continuing education related to commercial insurance.
• Knowledge of regional market conditions, carrier appetites, and evolving commercial insurance trends.
