Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Project Safety Director for a $1B+ construction project in Allentown, PA. You will own EH&S strategy on the site, lead 4-10 safety reps, and work with senior leadership to set safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 13+ years in construction safety, a Bachelor’s in Safety or related field, and relevant certifications including OSHA 30 and CHST. Excellent MS Office and EHS software proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field, or equivalent combo of education/training/experience.
• 13+ years of construction safety experience
• Proven management experience
• OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid/AED
• CHST (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
• Comfortable with MS Office and EHS software platforms

Responsibilities

• Own EH&S strategy and execution for the entire project site
• Lead and mentor a team of 4-10 safety representatives
• Direct and lead incident investigations from start to resolution
• Set the vision, goals, and continuous improvement strategy alongside senior leadership
• Build a best-in-class safety culture that becomes the project standard
• Manage safety budget, staffing, and resource allocation
