Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced cloud computing infrastructure architect to lead a team focused on enterprise cloud platforms, Kubernetes operations, GitOps pipelines, and secure DoD environments. You will guide clients through modernization of IT infrastructure and C2 systems, delivering automated, hardened, containerized foundations from data centers to the tactical edge.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering with technical leadership.
  • Experience operating Kubernetes at production scale, including cluster deployment, day-2 operations, upgrades, and security hardening.
  • Experience with CI / CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience implementing and operating an observability stack such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK or OpenTelemetry.
  • Experience designing and deploying systems in secure, air-gapped, or DDIL environments.
  • Ability to translate mission and reliability requirements into resilient, automated platform designs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology field, or 6+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining mission‑critical C2 platforms and infrastructure in lieu of a degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+ CE certification.

The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
